Superstar and longtime Dolemite fan Eddie Murphy will be playing Rudy Ray Moore in the upcoming biopic Dolemite is my Name! We are thrilled about this project, the creation of the biopic-kings, the team of Larry Karaszwski and Scott Alexander (Ed Wood, The People vs Larry Flint, Man on the Moon).

Craig Brewer (Hustle & Flow) has been chosen to direct, and Eddie Murphy is producing.

The latest development is the casting of Craig Brewer and Wesley Snipes as the director of the original 1974 Dolemite.
